12 days of Sholalovesblog | a festive makeup look.

Day 2 of 12 days of Sholalovesblog.:

Hey lovelies! Welcome to day 2 of 12 days of Sholalovesblog, only 23 dreams to go! Thought i'd share my go to makeup routine for the festive period. I don't know about you but i love these kind of posts so what a better way to start day 2 of Sholalovesblog.

Makeup has always been something i love, even at the age of 10 looking like a class clown! Makeup isn't to cover up my imperfections, i do it because i enjoy the time i spend on it. And, when Christmas is upon us, i like the red and festive vibes.

First thing's first - the base.

For foundation, i use Rimmel match perfection - It's been my go to foundation for the last year and a half. It's light weight which is always a win win for me, let's be honest, nobody likes to feel like they have concrete on their face!

Adding some colour.

You're probably wondering where my concealer is, right? I'll be honest with ya girl, i don't wear it! So, let's move on to adding some colour to your cheekbones, nose, forehead and jaw.

For colour i use my trusty 3 in 1 pallet, again from Rimmel London and it's the Kate Sculpting highlighter pallet. It comes with a highlighter, contour and blush. I find it so handy having it in one pallet rather than 3 separate ones taking up space in my makeup bag.

Moving onto the eyebrows.

For my brows i use the revolution eyebrow pomade in the shade 'Dark brown Brun'. However, i have only recently started using it after running out of my Ultra Brow which i used for a couple of years.
I absolutely love a brow pomade, i never could get the hand of an eyebrow pencil!

Next up, the eyes.

My go to eye shadow at the moment is the too faced sugar cookie. They have beautiful shades but i mainly reach for the glittery red, orange and pink.

For mascara i use the forever lashes by w7. You can probably guess what made me want to buy it, right? Yes, it's the rose gold packaging! But seriously, i love this mascara, it gives my lashes the best volume!

Last but no means least, the lips.

For my lips, I've been using the red carpet lipstick by Revolution. If you haven't seen my 3 festive lips, you can find it here. I absolutely love this shade, it's such a beautiful red and perfect for the festive season!

What's your go to makeup routine for the festive period? Don't forget to check back on the 16th of December for day 3 of 12 days of Sholalovesblog.
